Adult Coaching

Marsh Gibbon Tennis Club has a coaching programme that caters for all ages and abilities through both term time and holidays. Offering coaching from Tots Tennis upwards, if you are a beginner or experienced player, child or adult, our coaching programme has something to offer in order to advance your game. If formal coaching is not for you, the introduction of Cardio Tennis has added further diversity to the programme allowing beginners and advanced players alike to combine the best of tennis with cardiovascular exercise. With more emphasis upon drills, this is a perfect opportunity to apply technique, whilst training for the game.

Junior Members

My family and I have been members of the club for four years and enjoy taking part in the friendly tournaments organised by the club. Recently I became a team player for the ladies and mixed teams. Although a little daunting at first, my game has improved in confidence and ability which has been very rewarding. Liz Bruce-Kelly

A small friendly club with enthusiastic members. It keeps me fit and I enjoy some of the close games with my opponents. The social tournaments are good fun especially when we finish with some homemade cake! James Tates

Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis is a series of tennis based drills and activities. It does not require tennis skills, but is about keeping your heart rate up, burning calories (on average 600 calories) and having fun… Whether the ball goes in or out is irrelevant as the main purpose is to get fit. Sunday 9.15am – 10.15am Court One
